The Virginia Geriatrics Society is fortunate for grant support from the Virginia Center on Aging, with Geriatric Training and Education (GTE) funds designated by the General Assembly of the State of Virginia.
This grant allows the Virginia Geriatric Society to provide free tuition to as many as 40 Virginia-based clinicians for the annual Virginia Geriatrics Society conference. With abundant CME credits and strong faculty from the three Virginia medical schools, this conference has a track record of excellence.
Scholarships are offered on a first-come, first-served option for Virginia providers, with preference to first time (or depending on demand, possibly second time) VGS conference attendees who are NOT geriatricians. Awardees will be notified in mid-March. We especially want to encourage other health professionals to apply, in addition to MDs!
Meals, lodging, and travel are not included in this offer—only conference tuition.
